An Introduction to APQP Documentation

Not sure what an FMEA, Control Plan, or Process Flow is? Or are you not sure how to create one? Every week for the month of December four main aspects of the APQP process will be addressed.

APQP Document Tutorial!

QA Assistant is proud to announce a beginner's guide to APQP documentation a four-part article aimed at removing the headaches and pain which is often associated with the documentation and helping you reduce your cost and time to create these documents. Design FMEA, Process Flow, Process FMEA and Control Plans will all be discussed as part of this miniseries.

This series of articles, aptly titled 'An Introduction to APQP Documentation', will be a simple introduction to the documentation and how you go about completing it. QA Assistant's Customer Liaison Specialist, Neil McCabe, will provide you with the necessary knowledge needed to get you started.

Each article in the series will cover a different APQP topic and will give a brief description explaining the topic area and also a user friendly step-by-step guide to completing that particular stage of the APQP documentation. At the end of the step-by-step process you will be able to view an example of the completed document (created easily using QA Assistant Studio™ software) and see exactly how the information is entered and presented.

The first article next week will focus on the Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis ( dFMEA ). But you do not have to wait until then to start saving your company money. By registering for our free trial you will be able to see just how easy it is to create, link and maintain all your APQP documents.
